This Yatra or pilgrimage is a tour of four holy sites - Yamunotri, Gangotri and Kedarnath, Badrinath – nestled high up in the Himalayas. In Hindi, 'do' means two and 'dham' refers to religious destinations. The high-altitude shrines remain shut for around six months every year, opening in summer (April or May) and closing with the onset of winter (October or November). It is believed that one should complete the Do Dham Yatra in a clockwise direction. Hence, the pilgrimage starts from Yamunotri, proceeds towards Gangotri, onto Kedarnath, and finally ends at Badrinath. The journey can be completed by road or by air (helicopter services are available). Some devotees even do a Do Dham Yatra or a pilgrimage to two shrines - Kedarnath and Badrinath.
Day-wise Itinerary
D1
Day 1
Day 1:-Dehradun
- This is the reporting day at Dehradun, which is our main base (starting & ending point) for the Heli-tour.
- Himalayan Heli arranges this extra night halt for the passengers with dinner and breakfast, to wind down and be fully ready for the journey ahead.
- In the evening, there will be a Tour Briefing (mandatory to attend) by our Dehradun team, which will be conducted around 1900 Hrs.
- Duffel bags will be provided during the tour briefing, in which necessary luggage will have to be packed by the passengers - Maximum 5 kg/person will be permitted.
- Please note: Our staff will be taking the body weight of each pilgrim during the tour briefing; hence kindly ensure you attend the same.

Day 2
Day 2:- Kedarnath Ji
- This is the starting day of the Dodham yatra. Passengers will check-out from the hotel at 11:15 am, after breakfast. They will be picked-up from the Hotel by our team & taken to Sahastradhara Helidrome.
- Passengers will report at Sahastradhara Helidrome by 1130 Hrs.
- In case flight is getting delayed due to NOTAM/delayed clearances/bad weather etc., we shall convey to the passengers in advance, so that they may report according to the delayed timings at the Helidrome.
- Sersi - Himalayan Heli's third, and the oldest, own Heli-base in the Chardham sector.
- We operate the shuttle services for Kedarnath ji shrine from here.
- Passengers will be ferried to Kedarnath Dham for darshan in a shuttle services flight.
- Approximate time taken for Kedarnath Temple Darshan: 02 hours.
- The shuttle services flight Sersi to Kedarnath is apporx. 07 minutes long.
- Passengers might be ferried in different shuttle services flights, in view of the maximum weight carrying capacity of the aircraft at a high-altitude destination such as Kedarnath.
- Once the darshan is done, we will bring down passengers to Sersi.
- Sightseeing at Sersi: Triyuginarayan Temple - It is the venue of the celestial marriage of Lord Shiva & Goddess Parvati. Darshan at Triyuginarayan Temple can be arranged at an additional cost of INR 5,500 per vehicle, subject to current weather and road conditions.
D3
Day 3
Day 3:-Badrinath Ji
- Passengers will have breakfast & lunch at Sersi and be ready for their flight to Badrinath by 1200 hrs.
- On arrival at Badrinath helipad, our staff will assist passengers with hotel check-in.
- In the afternoon, passengers will be taken for darshan at Badrinath Temple.
- Approximate time taken for Badrinath Temple Darshan: 01 to 1.5 hours. Transport from hotel to temple will be provided by car.
- Sightseeing at Badrinath includes a visit to Mana Village – Known as the 'First Village of India' due to its proximity to the China border.
- Aarti / special pooja at Badrinath Temple – Swaran/Chandi Aarti (available on an additional direct payment basis), with extra vehicle charges applicable.

Day 4
Day 4:- Return to Dehradun
- Passengers will have breakfast & lunch by 1230 hrs and be ready for their flight to Sahastradhara Helidrome by 1245 hrs.
- Estimated time of arrival at Sahastradhara Helidrome is 1430 hrs. Our team will be present to receive the passengers upon arrival.
- Passengers will then be taken to the Dehradun hotel to collect their luggage from the cloak rooms.
- After collecting luggage, passengers will be dropped off at the airport or railway station.
- We bid farewell to the passengers with warm wishes and memories of the journey.
