Day 1
Day 1: Guwahati Airport - Shillong
- On arrival at Guwahati Airport & transfer to Shillong (140 Kms / 03 - 04 hrs.). Enroute visit Umium Lake (also known as Barapani Lake), a majestic placid lake with its surrounding sylvan hills. Upon reaching check in at your hotel.
- Overnight stay at Shillong.

Day 2: Shillong - Excursion to Mwaphlang - Local Sightseeing - Shillong
- After breakfast go for a excursion to Mawphlang (30 Kms / 01 to 01 ½ hrs. drive approx. one-way from Shillong) Sacred Forest & Elephant falls. Later proceed for the local sightseeing visit Don Bosco Museum (Sunday Closed), Ward’s Lake located at the heart of the city which is popular for its garden walks and boating, Lady Hydari Park & Cathedral of Mary.

Day 3: Shillong - Excursion Laitlum Canyons & Krangsuri - Shillong
- After breakfast, check out from the hotel and transfer Laitum Canyons (25 Kms / 45 Minutes to 01Hrs drive from Shillong). Witness the breathtaking Landscape of Laitlum canyons nestled in the majestic hills of Meghalaya. Proceed to Krangsuri Water fall (Jowai / 85 Kms / 03 ½ to 04 hrs. drive from Laitlum Canyons). After enjoy the beauty of falls drive back to Shillong.

Day 4
Day 4: Shillong - Mawlynnong - Dawki - Cherrapunjee (Long & Tiring Day)
- Wake up early and have your breakfast and drive to Mawlynnong (80 Kms / 03to 04 hrs. drive approx. one way from Shillong). Today you can explore the cleanest village Mawlynnong in the world. You can take the sky walk to have a spectacular view of the Single living Root Bridge.
- After lunch drive to Dawki (30 Kms / 01to 02 hrs. drive approx. one way from Mawlynnong). Dawki is the gateway to Bangladesh where major export and import transactions take place. It is a splendid drive of 45 kilometers passing through deep gorges and ravines, which is certainly a thrilling experience. On approaching Dawki is the Umngot River, The Umngot River is the natural boundary between Ri Pnar or Jaintia Hills with Hima Khyrim of Khasi hills over which a single span suspension bridge was constructed.
- Drive to Cherrapunjee for overnight stay (90 Kms / 03to 04 hrs. drive approx. one way from Dawki Lake).
- Mawlynnong village, situated at about 100 Kms ahead of Shillong on the Shillong-Dawki

2. Note: Dawki River will be Muddy and boating may not be operational due to monsoon rains.

Day 5: Cherrapunjee - Full Day Sightseeing - Cherrapunjee
- At Cherrapunjee visit - Garden of Caves, Arwah Cave / Mawsmai Cave, Seven Sisters Falls and Nohkalikai Falls.

- CHERRAPUNJEE - DOUBLE DECKER - CHERRAPUNJEE (LONG & TIRING DAY)
- After breakfast go for a trek to Double Decker Living Root Bridge – 3 to 4 hours walk one way from the starting point (depending on the Fitness of the guest). The distance cover is around 4 km one-way with down and up of 1000 feet height approx. This trek goes downhill through village Sohsarat. The steps are relatively steeper in two short stretches. Half the distance is covered by steps going downhill. Then there is a jungle path going along the sides of the hill leading to the Living Root Bridge with a few steps after short stretches of sloping foot path. Moss thrives on these sandstone steps during the monsoon and makes them slippery, hence one need to be extra careful. Later trek back to the starting point and then board your vehicle to drive back to the hotel.

Day 6: Cherrapunjee - Guwahati
After breakfast drive to Guwahati. On time in the evening go for River Cruise (on direct payment & subjected to operational condition). Upon reaching, check in & over night at Guwahati.

Brahmaputra River Sunset Cruise / Brahmaputra River Dinner Cruise (Subjected to water level & operational condition).

Day 7: Departure
Morning visit Kamakhya Temple (VIP tickets on arrangement - https://mkdonline.in/). Back to hotel for breakfast.

- The area is backward but rich in Nature and the facilities available cannot be matched to those available in the other developed destinations. Guests with adventurous mind should choose to travel to 7Sisters State. Guests who are unable to sacrifice their comfort should not be opting to travel.
- In this region, there is no relevance between the distance and time travelling as it depends upon the conditions of roads and congestion of traffic.
- It is wise to carry post paid connections of BSNL as other mobile service providers do not have connectivity in this region.
- Credit Cards are not freely accepted in some of the remote places.
- For comfortable journey, we advise to carry limited luggage as roof-top carriers in vehicles are not permitted in many states.
- Woolen clothes, Jackets, Umbrellas are advisable to carry, especially while visiting Meghalaya & Arunachal Pradesh.
- The locals tend to be helpful as long as one respect their culture and way of life. Things move at a slow pace in North East. Travel plans could get derailed. It is important to have patience & not to lose cool. While travelling to the remote regions of 7Sisters States, it is strictly advised, not to venture outside the hotel after sunset.
- The road connectivity and conditions between Guwahati and the rest of the North Eastern states varies from place to place. The developed parts of Assam have good roads, while others are just about fine. Arunachal Pradesh, Nagaland is infamous for its bumpy roads. Travelers while travelling through these states, will have to prepare themselves for unplanned delays. It is strongly recommended not to attempt to drive during unfavorable weather conditions or after sunset. While travelling away from towns, one has to make sure to carry packaged food and water bottles.
- Every effort will be made to maintain the itinerary. In case of local strikes, landslide etc., which are beyond our control all schedule and itineraries will be subjected to last moment changes. Any additional cost arising will have to be borne by the guests directly.

- Children above 10+ years will be considered as an adult and will be charged as per EPSR rate.
- Children of 5+ to 10 sharing room with bed / rollaway or mattress will be charged as per CWB rate.
- Children of 5+ to 10 sharing room without bed / rollaway or mattress will be charged as per CNB rate.
- Children below 5 years will be complimentary without bed (sharing the parent’s room).
- Note : Hotels are very strict with the child policy. Please carry the age proof document, so that it can be provided when asked for.

Private, comfortable vehicles are provided for all transfers and sightseeing.
Daily excursions typically last between 6 to 8 hours, including sightseeing and travel time, with ample time for rest.
Light, comfortable clothing, rain gear for Cherrapunjee, trekking shoes for hikes, and essential medications. A camera is also recommended for the scenic views.
Most of the hotels, in the area do not have lift. One has to climb stairs to reach the lobby or the allotted rooms. In case of problems related to blood pressure, breathing, knee & heart or even if the guest cannot climb higher floors, then we request them to let us know, at the time of briefing call. Ideally this should have been communicated at the time of quotation so that the correct hotel could have been selected and costing could have been done accordingly. If the problem is highlighted at the time of briefing call, the FHE gets time to handle in advance and the hotels assigns room, which will be convenient than the ones quoted/reserved for the guest (subjected to availability). In case of any difference in price arising due to this displacement, this will have to be settled directly by the guest, at the time of check-in.
The hotels especially in cold places provides room heater on request & on extra payment. This amount needs to be settled, directly by the guest, with the hotels, before check-out. The charge varies from INR 300.00 to INR 500.00 per heater, per room per night depending on the hotels. Even at times the room heater may not work in all places due to voltage fluctuations.
The allocated vehicle is exclusively for you, which will not be at disposal & will operate strictly as per the itinerary. In case the guest want to go for shopping, it is advisable to inform the FHE (File Handling Executive) in advance helping them to plan the day accordingly. However, in case of late intimation or extra vehicle usage after scheduled duty, then there will be additional charge of INR 2000 per vehicle for minimum 02 Hrs & INR 4000.00 per vehicle for maximum 04 Hrs).
Yes, the vehicle provided have Air-conditioning, which will be switched off while going up-hill. AC will be switched on in the plains, when the vehicle is on move only. In case the vehicle is stuck-up in a jam, the AC will be switched off along with the engine.
