Day-wise Itinerary
Day 1
Day 1: Guwahati Airport - Shillong
- On arrival at Guwahati Airport & transfer to Shillong (140 Kms / 03 - 04 hrs.). Enroute visit Umium Lake (also known as Barapani Lake), a majestic placid lake with its surrounding sylvan hills. Upon reaching check in at your hotel.
- Overnight stay at Shillong.
Day 2
Day 2: Shillong - Excursion to Mwaphlang - Local Sightseeing - Shillong
- After breakfast go for a excursion to Mawphlang (30 Kms / 01 to 01 ½ hrs. drive approx. one-way from Shillong) Sacred Forest & Elephant falls. Later proceed for the local sightseeing visit Don Bosco Museum (Sunday Closed), Ward’s Lake located at the heart of the city which is popular for its garden walks and boating, Lady Hydari Park & Cathedral of Mary.
- Overnight stay at Shillong.
Day 3
Day 3: Shillong - Excursion Laitlum Canyons & Krangsuri - Shillong
- After breakfast, check out from the hotel and transfer Laitum Canyons (25 Kms / 45 Minutes to 01Hrs drive from Shillong). Witness the breathtaking Landscape of Laitlum canyons nestled in the majestic hills of Meghalaya. Proceed to Krangsuri Water fall (Jowai / 85 Kms / 03 ½ to 04 hrs. drive from Laitlum Canyons). After enjoy the beauty of falls drive back to Shillong.

Day 4
Day 4: Shillong - Mawlynnong - Dawki - Cherrapunjee (Long & Tiring Day)
- Wake up early and have your breakfast and drive to Mawlynnong (80 Kms / 03to 04 hrs. drive approx. one way from Shillong). Today you can explore the cleanest village Mawlynnong in the world. You can take the sky walk to have a spectacular view of the Single living Root Bridge.
- After lunch drive to Dawki (30 Kms / 01to 02 hrs. drive approx. one way from Mawlynnong). Dawki is the gateway to Bangladesh where major export and import transactions take place. It is a splendid drive of 45 kilometers passing through deep gorges and ravines, which is certainly a thrilling experience. On approaching Dawki is the Umngot River, The Umngot River is the natural boundary between Ri Pnar or Jaintia Hills with Hima Khyrim of Khasi hills over which a single span suspension bridge was constructed.
- Drive to Cherrapunjee for overnight stay (90 Kms / 03to 04 hrs. drive approx. one way from Dawki Lake).
- Mawlynnong village, situated at about 100 Kms ahead of Shillong on the Shillong-Dawki
Day 5
Day 5: Cherrapunjee - Full Day Sightseeing - Cherrapunjee
- At Cherrapunjee visit - Garden of Caves, Arwah Cave / Mawsmai Cave, Seven Sisters Falls and Nohkalikai Falls.
- CHERRAPUNJEE - DOUBLE DECKER - CHERRAPUNJEE (LONG & TIRING DAY)
- After breakfast go for a trek to Double Decker Living Root Bridge – 3 to 4 hours walk one way from the starting point (depending on the Fitness of the guest). The distance cover is around 4 km one-way with down and up of 1000 feet height approx. This trek goes downhill through village Sohsarat. The steps are relatively steeper in two short stretches. Half the distance is covered by steps going downhill. Then there is a jungle path going along the sides of the hill leading to the Living Root Bridge with a few steps after short stretches of sloping foot path. Moss thrives on these sandstone steps during the monsoon and makes them slippery, hence one need to be extra careful. Later trek back to the starting point and then board your vehicle to drive back to the hotel.

Day 6: Cherrapunjee - Guwahati

Must know points for travelers (common to all the 7Sister State - Arunachal Pradesh, Assam, Manipur, Meghalaya, Mizoram, Nagaland & Tripura)
- The area is backward but rich in Nature and the facilities available cannot be matched to those available in the other developed destinations. Guests with adventurous mind should choose to travel to 7Sisters State. Guests who are unable to sacrifice their comfort should not be opting to travel.
- In this region, there is no relevance between the distance and time travelling as it depends upon the conditions of roads and congestion of traffic.
- It is wise to carry post paid connections of BSNL as other mobile service providers do not have connectivity in this region.
- Credit Cards are not freely accepted in some of the remote places.
- For comfortable journey, we advise to carry limited luggage as roof-top carriers in vehicles are not permitted in many states.
- Woolen clothes, Jackets, Umbrellas are advisable to carry, especially while visiting Meghalaya & Arunachal Pradesh.
- The locals tend to be helpful as long as one respect their culture and way of life. Things move at a slow pace in North East. Travel plans could get derailed. It is important to have patience & not to lose cool. While travelling to the remote regions of 7Sisters States, it is strictly advised, not to venture outside the hotel after sunset.
- The road connectivity and conditions between Guwahati and the rest of the North Eastern states varies from place to place. The developed parts of Assam have good roads, while others are just about fine. Arunachal Pradesh, Nagaland is infamous for its bumpy roads. Travelers while travelling through these states, will have to prepare themselves for unplanned delays. It is strongly recommended not to attempt to drive during unfavorable weather conditions or after sunset. While travelling away from towns, one has to make sure to carry packaged food and water bottles.
- Every effort will be made to maintain the itinerary. In case of local strikes, landslide etc., which are beyond our control all schedule and itineraries will be subjected to last moment changes. Any additional cost arising will have to be borne by the guests directly.

- Children above 10+ years will be considered as an adult and will be charged as per EPSR rate.
- Children of 5+ to 10 sharing room with bed / rollaway or mattress will be charged as per CWB rate.
- Children of 5+ to 10 sharing room without bed / rollaway or mattress will be charged as per CNB rate.
- Children below 5 years will be complimentary without bed (sharing the parent’s room).
- Note : Hotels are very strict with the child policy. Please carry the age proof document, so that it can be provided when asked for.
