Day 1

Day 1 : Traversing Tranquil Terrain: NJP/IXB to Gangtok

● Arrive at NJP railway station and transfer to Gangtok (120 KM/about 4-5 hours drive). En route enjoy the picturesque drive passing by the Teesta River.

● Check-in at your hotel in Gangtok. Rest of the Day is for Leisure Day on your own.

● Overnight stay in Gangtok.

Day 2

Day 2 : Embrace the Essence of Gangtok: Unforgettable Discoveries

● After breakfast start your day with a visit to the Flower Exhibition Centre.

● Explore Hanuman Tok and Ganesh Tok for panoramic views.

● Head to Tashi View Point for snow-capped peaks.

● Explore Gonjang Monastery for a serene experience.

● Experience the beauty of Bakthang Waterfalls.

● Visit the Handloom and Handicraft Emporium.

● Explore the sacred Do Drul Chorten.

● Conclude with a visit to Namgyal Institute of Tibetology.

Day 3

Day 3 : Exploring the Nathula Pass, Tsomgo Lake, new Baba temple

● Depart early from Gangtok for Nathula Pass to enjoy breathtaking views.

● Visit Nathula Pass and explore the memorial, ensuring you have the necessary permits.

● Continue your excursion to Tsomgo Lake, surrounded by snow-capped mountains.

● Proceed to the new Baba Mandir, a sacred shrine dedicated to an Indian Army soldier. Return to Gangtok in the evening.

Important Note: Visiting Nathula Pass requires a special permit (Subject to availability of permits, Rs. 4000/- extra) from the Sikkim Tourism Department and is subject to weather and security conditions. Due to its high altitude, be prepared for possible altitude sickness and chilly temperatures.

Day 4

Day 4 : Journeying from Gangtok to Darjeeling

● After breakfast, check out from the hotel in Gangtok.

● Drive to Darjeeling, enjoying scenic views en route.

● Check in to your hotel upon arrival in Darjeeling.

● Rest of the day, enjoy leisure time to relax or explore on your own.

Day 5

Day 5 : Darjeeling: Where Every Sunrise Paints a New Adventure

● 4:00 AM: Early morning visit to Tiger Hill (subject to availability of permit/token), Explore Ghoom Monastery and Batasia Loop on the way back. then return to the hotel for Breakfast.

● After breakfast visit the Himalayan Mountaineering Institute and its mountaineering history museum.

● Proceed to the P.N. Zoological Park (closed on Thursdays) for Himalayan fauna.

● Enjoy a cable car ride at the Ropeway for panoramic views (on direct payment basis, it will take up 2-4 hours).

● Visit the Tibetan Refugee Self-Help Centre (closed on Sundays) for Tibetan crafts.

● Admire the outer view of the Tea Garden. Visit the Japanese Temple for peace and Himalayan views.

● Enjoy a ride on the famous Darjeeling Toy Train(world heritage) on a direct payment basis.

Day 6

Day 6 : Departure to IXB/NJP from Darjeeling

15-29 days before departure: 25% cancellation charge

7-14 days before departure: 50% cancellation charge
